Usually my sister and I celebrate Thanksgiving with our mom, however, this year we decided to stay in the Bay Area and celebrate with our extended family. It was great to be able to spend today with our family while enjoying great food, after all, that's what this day is all about, family and food.
Now, enough about what we did, lets get to the good part, the food! We were lucky enough to enjoy the full smorgasbord of traditional Thanksgiving food: turkey, ham, mashed potatoes (the creamy kind!), gravy, stuffing, yams (with marshmallows of course), a green bean casserole, rolls, cranberries, pumpkin pie and more!
I hope everyone else had as great a Thanksgiving as I did. We'd love to hear from you if today held something special, whether it be a new tradition, a unique dish, or just something or someone you're thankful for!
