I've made it known before the secret to a perfect pancake is all in the butter. This recipe is certainly no exception. To get that golden crust you need butter, real butter. Whisked into the batter and in the pan. Real butter. No substitutes. This recipe is often the sole reason I drag myself out of bed on the weekends, for a fluffy warm buttery pancake hug. Trust me on this one, you'll never make pancakes with margarine or imitation butter spray again.

Fluffy Pancakes recipe via All Recipes
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted (plus more for the pan)
Combine milk with vinegar in a medium bowl and set aside for 5 minutes to "sour".Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk egg and butter into "soured" milk. Pour the flour mixture into the wet ingredients and whisk until lumps are gone.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat, and coat with butter. Pour 1/4 cupfuls of batter onto the skillet, and cook until bubbles appear on the surface. Flip with a spatula, and cook until browned on the other side. Serve with maple syrup, butter, jam, nutella, or whatever you please!
