Liholiho Yacht Club is a long running pop-up by Chef Ravi Kapur and features Hawaiian and Indian-inspired bites. I was lucky enough to check out one of the pop-ups last summer and have been counting down the days until the brick-and-mortar opened every since!

When: Dinner Monday - Saturday starting at 5:00pm
Where: The TenderNob - 871 Sutter St.
Decor: Casual and vibrant featuring a yellow-tiled kitchen and fun blue-an-white floor tiles (see if you can find the plateware that matches the tiles!). The "piece de resistance" is a wall size photo of Chef's mom circa 1975 while the instagram charmer is the welcome sign at the door which reads "Aloha" in tiles on the entryway floor.
Bites: Tuna Poke with sesame oil and radish on a nori cracker, Beef Tongue with Kimchi and Cucumber on a Poppy Seed Steam Bun, Bonito Caesar with Chilled Brussels Sprouts, Broccoli Romanesco an Piccolo Basil, Lamb Ribs with Black Vinegar, Dates, Almonds and Watermelon Radish, Manila Clams with Coconut Curry, Fava Leaves, Fresh Turmeric and Garlic Naan, Twice Cooked Berkshire Pork Shank with Pineapple, Thai Basil and Fennel and last but not least, the Baked Hawaii with Caramelized Pineapple Ice Cream and Vanilla Chiffon

Insider Tips: There's a great bar and communal table, if you can't get a dinner reservation pop in for some snacks and drinks here!
